Is that what they think a man is?

Hey boys. Want to know what the world thinks of you? Watch TV for an hour and pay attention to how men are represented. Especially family type men.....(OK I'll pretend you just did but really... Do it!) Well, what you saw was what modern society thinks of you and wants for you. But that's not Gods picture of what a man is. You are the first of His creation. You are the leader of your home. You are the provider of resource. You are the protector of all in your care. And you're built to do it well, by God Almighty. Please don't bach at my non politically correct rants as you read. You will only prove that your estrogen levels are too high for this type of encouragement to help, until you learn to pee standing up again. You were not meant to be an object of ridicule and disgrace. You're not meant to be a bafoon only caring about sex, food, sports, and mind altering substances. Let's work on this with Gods examples and guidance and transform the perception and standard of manhood back to truth one man at a time. The man in the mirror can go first.

  1. I think manhood encompasses so many different trials from childhood through the teen years. Having your face "put to the bricks" as we used to say was a rite of passage. I remember my dad encouraging me to stand ground with a bully and duke it out on the streets as a child versus running and trying to emasculate the two child combatants. Had many a fist a cuffs back then. Won some, lost more but bloodied up enough to know the value of masculine stature. This stand and fight value is one of the lessons liberals would have us forget. Our nation was not forged with verbal communiques and sit downs with King George of England. To escape the tyranny took the blood and lives of those who thought it worth the sacrifice. Now today we raise our male children trying to fight the influence of public educations endoctrination of feminism. Providing a safe and secure enviroment for a family takes a man who will fight to have it. I do not find this opinion to be anti-Christian either as the pangs of any birth were meant to hurt so was the pangs of Americanism. It is ironic that some of our toughest leaders of the 20th century were female...Thatcher, Golda Meyer of Israel, even Merkle of Germany is quite conservative for a neo European leader. Maybe our male leaders could take a cue from them.

  2. You're right on trac with the heart of this blog and I value your comment. while I want to address men in this blog I by no means want to dicount those same great attributes in women. I also apreciate the warrior side of the man culture that has been long time oppressed by the liberal standard setters of our times. The blurring of gender roles and attributes needs to be beaten back into order by men and women of God. I look forward to your thoughts in the future.
